Hey guys, haven't been on here for a while.
So, I'm pretty sure you know what happened. Claude and Malik are constantly arguing now, not a day goes by without them yelling at each other, I'm getting worried.
Malik locked himself up in his room and refuses to leave it, occasionally getting out to go to the bathroom, or get some food. He stopped going on missions, I mean, I don't judge him for that, or anything, it's just that Claude keeps saying that if Malik doesn't do his part, the "Higher Ups" will come back for him and he just says that he doesn't care.
I don't know what happened to Malik, he never seemed to care about what he is told what to do and etc. That whole Megaphone Scene was so surprising to hear for me, it's just not like Malik to do a stunt like that. It sounded like he was trying to rally up a rebellion, or something. This is such a sudden change from him, I just don't understand.
And while I don't agree with everything he said, I do agree with one point. I don't understand people in this neighborhood. I mean, I know for a fact that a good majority of them are doing this, only so they can survive. What difference does it make if we serve or run? Sure we have the pleasure of having houses, showers, etc. But another group attack like the last one and those houses don't do anything for us.
To be honest, if it weren't for Malik's quick thinking and taking the lead, we wouldn't be able to organize ourselves for that attack, "The Higher Ups" weren't doing much to help us.
Here's the most disgusting part, we survive by killing people and I hate being a part of this organization, I would have no problem becoming a runner, but I don't want to leave my friends behind.
Didn't expect this to turn into a rant, oh well.
In my experience, being a runner tends to lead to more killing, and less organization.
ReplyDelete'Course, seeing what your bosses have been getting up to, it seems I got out at a good time.
I'm really really sorry I have to do this. I really am.
ReplyDeleteYour organisation is founded on the notion that humans are disposable. Starting with the monster at the top. Even if you personally don't think that, even if you've never held a gun in your life, you still breathe in, validate and contribute to that culture of disposability. The same culture that strangles Runners and Servants for all the physical, emotional and financial strength we're worth.
As for friends, victims are divided into proxy and runner to begin with. Servitude is divisive by nature. On top of that you get reassigned, or promoted, or demoted, I'm sure. And any Runner friends? You'll get assigned to kill us sooner or later. Because humans are seen as disposable in your organisation.
When an organisation is built around a child murdering monster, it's going to be toxic to the fucking core. You guys don't seem to realise that the system was against everyone from the get-go. It was never about survival, it's an illusion of survival, it's a "make sure the other guy dies first" deal.
