A few posts ago, Malik and everyone else found out that I was actually in charge of an entire sector of proxies here in UK. It's not the highest "promotion", but it still makes you in charge of the majority of peoples lives and it basically means that you can never leave the place you are assigned to, only for short periods of time.
I didn't want to be promoted, but that was a choice I had to make and it wasn't a "Life or Death" kind of choice, it was more of a sacrifice. Me and my dear friend have been serving as Proxies for a good amount of time, we practically began at the same time. As time went on, our rank status grew, missions became harder, but one thing never changed, me and my friend were always working together.
Until one day. Me and my Friend were summoned by "The Higher Ups", they told us that one of us was about to be promoted, the reason why they called both of us, was because they themselves couldn't choose which of us they should promote, so they decided to let us choose. Getting promoted doesn't sound as good as you think it is, it basically means that you practically never have any time to catch up with your friends, no time for any personal life situations (Not even little ones, like calling your loved ones.) and it means that you will be practically imprisoned to the place you are assigned to, and the missions will keep getting harder and harder, etc...
Knowing my friend, she was full of life, she enjoyed meeting new people, enjoyed traveling, this promotion would be hell for her. So I volunteered, she volunteered as well for the same reason I did, but in the end, I was chosen. After I was promoted, my friend was sent off on a different mission, to a completely different country and we don't have any means to communicate, so I have no idea where she is, or if she's still alive for that matter.
I've been here for nine years now, only occasionally leaving this place, to visit some of my friends. The reason I kept my position a secret from everyone else, is because, all the previous people that lived with me here (until they got enough experience and got sent off to different countries), didn't talk to me like a person, they talked to me with 'respect' and shit, like I was some sort of tutor, or something. I don't like that, when I talk to people, I want for them to talk to me, without any fear, or strictness.
So yeah, the only reason I'm typing this here, is because Alesa forced me to, apparently, I wasn't posting enough on this blog.
You're still a doucheface.
